Mind Sjalvmordslinjen provides 24/7, free and confidential support by phone and online chat. We help everyone in Sweden who may be looking for support with suicide. When you contact us you will talk with one of our trained and supportive volunteers who will listen to you with empathy and understanding, and work together with you to find a meaningful way forward. They are experienced in knowing how to help people who have challenges like what you are going through. Anyone can contact us, regardless of their age, gender, ethnicity or religious beliefs.

Live Without Violence hotline

Hotline for people affected by violence in intimate relationships (Denmark)

The national Live Without Violence hotline offers anonymous and free telephone advice to people affected by violence in intimate relationships. The phone line is open 24 hours a day, all year round. The target group is adults who are victims of violence and perpetrators of violence, their relatives and professionals. In addition, people exposed to sexualized violence in both close relationships and non-close relationships are also part of the target group.

For Danish pilots

Danish pilots are covered by PFA pension which offers a wide range of insurance, that include the following:

  • Doctor, psychologist, physiotherapist, family therapist, coaching

  • Examinations and treatments if needed.

  • Critical illness insurance

  • Loss of working capacity

  • Sudden death payment for immediate next of kin.

 

Furthermore, all pilots are covered by a loss of license insurance should they lose the ability to retain their medical clearance to fly. This insurance is currently valid, and the company is at all times responsible for this.

For Norwegian pilots

Norwegian pilots are covered by Vertikal Helse health insurance, that includes, for example: 

  • 5 physical treatments without referral

  • Appointment with a medical specialist within 7 days

  • Fully covered costs for treatment, examinations and surgery

  • Second opinions

  • 10 hours with a psychologist

  • 24 hours help line for the entire family of the pilot

  • Medical video consultation, and much more.

For Swedish pilots

Swedish pilots, and co-insured family members, have access to LF:s samtalsstöd through the group insurance. This support can be used for both private and work-related matters. The service includes 3 telephone sessions per case. The conversations may concern anything that affects work capacity or health, regardless of whether the issue is related to work or private life. 

You may speak with:

  • Psychologist

  • Legal advisor

  • Financial advisor

  • Ergonomist

  • Health coach
